Born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 6, 1951. That's the beginning of the story. Yes she was born in Birmingham, Alabama. But her story is that she was the perfect big sister; helping her 5 younger sisters as best she could. Not only did she care for her sisters, but her children, her grandchild, church members, the elderly, the downtrodden. Midaris was there for everyone. That's her life story. That's her legacy. Never forgetting a birthday, an anniversary; wanting the phone calls, the pictures, wanting and making a difference in the lives of those who she loved.

Passed away on April 16, 2004. That's not even the end of the story. Because to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord.
