If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear then shall ye also appear with him in glory.Colossians 3:1-4

I wish heaven had a phone so I could hear your voice again. I thought of you today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and a picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake, from which I'll never part. God has you in his arms, I have you in my heart.

This memorial is created to remember Evangelist Midaris T. Zlu, born in Birmingham,  Alabama on January 6, 1951 and passed away on April 16, 2004. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

Evangelist Midaris T. Zlu 53 of Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania entered into eternal rest at home on Friday morning, April 16, 2004. Midaris was born on January 6, 1951 in Birmingham, Alabama to Lushiina Zen and the late Alfred Hudson. She attended public schools in Queens, New York and continued her college education in Newark, New Jersey. She lived in New Jersey up until 1995 and had resided in Pennsylvania until her death. She was an employee at Odgen in New Jersey and held the position as an Administrative Assistant. Midaris, was an active member of the Reaching Out for Jesus Christian Center (ROJCC)in Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania. Midaris maintained and served faithfully on two auxillaries. She became an Evangelist of the ROJCC in 2001 and has faithfully served on the Evangelist Board until her death. She visited the sick and shut in and very attentive to the seniors in her church. Midaris sang with the ROJCC Adult Ensemble. She sang soprano and sang very well. We can safely say with assurance that Midaris' life was hid in Christ; a passionate and powerful praiser; and a strong and fervorant prayer warrior. A mother, grandmother, a sister, friend and child of the King; Midaris' life was an example for many to live by.

If Tomorrow Starts Without Me

If tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we’re far apart,
for every time you think of me, please know I’m in your heart.

Funeral Poem : If Tomorrow Starts Without Me

If tomorrow starts without me, and I’m not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry the way you did today,
while thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say.
I know how much you care for me, and how much I care for you,
and each time that you think of me I know you’ll miss me too;

But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand,
that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand,
and said my place was ready in heaven far above,
and that I’d have to leave behind all those I dearly love.

But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye,
for all life, I’d always thought I didn’t want to die.
I had so much to live for and so much yet to do.
it seemed almost impossible that I was leaving you.
I thought of all the love we shared and all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday, I thought, just for a while,
I’d say goodbye and hug you and maybe see you smile.

But then I fully realised that this could never be,
for emptiness and memories would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things that I’d miss come tomorrow.
I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow.

But when I walked through Heaven’s gates, I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me, from His great golden throne,
He said, "This is eternity and all I’ve promised you,
Today your life on earth is past but here it’s starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow, but today will always last.
and since each day’s the same, there’s no longing for the past.

But you have been so faithful, so trusting, so true.
Though there were times you did some things you knew you shouldn’t do.
And you have been forgiven and now at last you’re free.
So won’t you come and take my hand and share my life with me?"

So if tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we’re far apart,
for every time you think of me, please know I’m in your heart.

Latest Condolences
C. Borurguet My deepest condolence January 7, 2016
My condolences, as feelings of pain and bitterness become unbearable. It is my desire to convey a comforting thought based on the Holy Scriptures

John 5:28 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."

This passage speaks of the resurrection of our loved ones. It is not God's plan to see us suffer and die, so He extends the following invitation to us: "Come near to God and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8)

Please go to the following link to obtain more information regarding the Hope expressed in this passage and again we are sorry for your loss.
